In the autumn of 2013, a devout student from Thessaloniki who deeply loves Saint King John and regularly reads his supplication prayers, saw him in a vision. She saw herself in Constantinople, just after the end of World War 3. Outside the Holy Temple of God’s Wisdom (Hagia Sophia), a crowd had gathered, cheering and waiting for Saint King John to appear. And behold! From within Hagia Sophia, Saint King John emerged, wearing a radiant, gold-embroidered Roman military uniform and riding a massive white horse.
That same student, in Attica in February 2024, saw a beggar on the street, a blessed figure who didn’t look like a typical beggar. At that moment, she had exactly €3.50 in her wallet, which she intended to use to pay a small debt. But something stirred in her heart, prompting her to give the money to the “beggar,” because within her, she “saw” that this man was Saint King John.
Later, when she opened her wallet again, she found the same €3.50 still inside.
