Elder Theodore of Agiofarago (By Mt. Neophytos of Morphou)
This video is a segment from the 3rd “Lighting the Lighter of the Saints” Meetings with His Eminence Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou, who discusses prophecies of the upcoming WW3 and what events we can expect as warning signs that the great war is about to start. In the end, Metropolitan Neophytos explains that from now on, there is no need to talk of prophecies because prophecies are becoming headlines.
Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou: “Praying on your knees moves mountains, not just neighbors. (His Eminence is answering a question on how to deal with a difficult neighbor) The prayers also grant enlightenment on how to deal with him. Eh? I have many examples to give, but it’s getting late, and I don’t want to tire you. Prayer must not be general and abstract. It must be nominative: prayer by name. “My Lord,...” Don’t forget, “My” when you talk to Christ. Either “My Lord,” or “Our Lord, Jesus Christ...” The demons are very scared of this “My.” As soon as I say, “My (Lord Jesus Christ) ... ,” they tremble. They also tremble at the Psalter. As soon as they see you touch the Psalter or the Gospel,... “My Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on Helen; have mercy on me too.” “My Lord Jesus Christ, enlighten my neighbor Helen; enlighten me too.”
(Question): “Could you talk to us about the signs of the times and the upcoming events of the prophecies. Do you believe that the countdown for the Greek-Turkish war, to take place this year, has started? A Greek international relations expert who studied the Holy Scripture and the Lives of the Saints said that the “Marbled King,” John, has already woken up and he is preparing to carry out the plan assigned to him by God and reign in Constantinople. Do you believe it’s true? Thank you very much!”
(Reads in short another similar question): “Talks about our times; St. Paisios; the vigil oil-lamp of Panagia is moving [on its own] in Iviron Monastery, Mt. Athos; Archangel Michael in Koutrafas shed tears (probably means his icon); what will happen with Cyprus?”
(Another similar question): “Your blessing, Geronda. What’s going on with the war, unemployment, hunger, the refugees, the Muslims? How will the events unfold, the state of the world, when will love reign in the world?” (Please) pray for Marios who is 30 years old and is in Arodaphnousa (Palliative Care Center in Cyprus). Let me give you this one.”
Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou: “Look. We’ll say these things and finish. A man of God told me, the one I told you before was praying to see where Elder Evmenios (Saridakis) was and (Saint Evmenios) showed him the heavenly hierarchy of the modern saints. That same person lives somewhere secretly, I will never reveal (his identity), because we need the secret and hidden saints. I asked him with agony... Not so much when I saw the Turkish ship “Fatih” perform a drilling (in Cyprus’ waters), I had warned (the people of Cyprus) about this a long time ago. The saints had told me what will take place. They aren’t my own words. (Addresses someone in the audience): An associate of your husband, a (government) Minister, a responsible person, came to me and we talked. So that the ones in power know how the holy people see the future events taking place. And may they act according to their faith. If they don’t act, God will depose them and put others in their place. Because Christ won’t allow for Orthodoxy and Hellenism to perish. We will be tested in order to cast off all the sinfulness that we, ourselves, [consciously] chose to side with. We need a surgery! A deep surgery! And the surgery will take place with the (Third) World War. Everyone will be frightened! Even if Cyprus doesn’t take part in the World War. Neither Greece, nor Cyprus will take part in the (coming) World War. However, our neighbors will. Some will even be bombed with nuclear weapons. Chernobyl affected so many people and caused so many cancers. Imagine the Russians throwing nuclear weapons at Turkey, which they will do. Turkey is next to us. At Israel. What made me talk with this man of God with agony... Although, I was already studying the (prophecies of the Orthodox saints) for years now, by directives of contemporary men of God who said, “A bishop must study the prophecies of the saints!” (In order to determine) which ones are true and which are false. False ones exist too. Right Satan meddles everywhere to cause confusion and infidelity. And he succeeded! We got to the point where hierarchs make fun of the prophetic speech of St. Paisios! One of the greatest saints of Orthodoxy! May God show mercy! What worried me was the intention of the Israelis to bomb the nuclear program of Persia (Iran). This was passed on to us by an ascetic, who is unknown to most people, Elder Theodoros (Nilos) Agiofarangitis («Γέροντας Θεόδωρος (Νείλος) Αγιοφαραγγίτης» in Greek). (Who lived) in Agiofarango in the Asterousia Mountains of Crete. He fell asleep three years ago (2016) during the Holy Week.
He told us, “My children, you’ll be drinking your coffee and you’ll hear that the Israelis hit the nuclear program of Persia (Iran).” “It is then that the ‘big events’ will begin.” “Around the same time or a little before, Erdogan will fall.” “These will be the signs you’ll witness, to know that ‘the big events’ are coming.” Now that I see the Israelis saying clearly and without any evasion, “Our goal is...” and (Donald) Trump serving this goal, also clearly, I realize that the “distant ones” become “close.”
How close? We cannot know. Because the repentance of the lowest man is able to push these events further back so that our philanthropic (merciful) Christ can give [more] time for more people on earth to repent. I asked this man of God, “Brother, what do you think?” He said, “My bishop, we’ve talked a lot about prophecies.” “The prophecies (from here on out) have finished.” Listen to what he said! “The prophecies are headlines from now on.” “The prophecies are now headlines!” “We’ll watch the prophecies on TV and hear them on the radio.” The duty is to separate the true ones from the false ones. As far as our land (Cyprus) is concerned, we’ll go through three days of fear. Which we haven’t passed yet. Many thought that (these three days) were the coming of the Turkish drilling ship. I think that the only person who realized this danger was your husband and the President (of Cyprus) and the Minister of Defence. Most Cypriots never truly realized. If you ask my opinion, the state did well to not scare the people. On the other hand, even though we know that these things will happen. We see that these things are already happening. Repentance remains so little!
This is Panagia’s heartfelt complaint. She says, “I want to raise up Orthodoxy and make it the faith of the whole world!” “What do I ask (in return)?” “A little repentance, a ‘Lord, I have sinned!’” And our MPs (i.e. Members of Parliament), coming from whatever party, draft such legislation? This “unnatural legislation” that MPs pass both in Greece and Cyprus, the Gerondissa of Attiki, who is a woman with the Light of Christ told us that it will cause natural disasters! Nature will rebel. Craters will open suddenly in cities and apartment buildings will “be sinked.” Unseen earthquakes will take place on account of the unnatural (sins) which are taking place [everywhere in the world]. Nowadays, it’s a bit dangerous. If we dare say something against them, they’ll arrest us.
“You are judging and commenting on people who are suffering.” The suffering ones are coming to confess whatever (their problem) is. I wonder what will happen with the prideful ones… I don’t want to talk more about prophecies. We, as Orthodox Christians, must keep our eyes on the two signs I mentioned. The fall of Erdogan. Now, whether it will be a political or a biological fall ... Some say it will be the latter, others say the former. I can’t interpret (this prophecy). But, it will (certainly) be a fall. The next who will come to power as politicians in Turkey will be upstarts. In other words, they will be people who don’t know much about politics. And although they will attempt to fix Erdogan’s mistakes, Erdogan’s arrogance, they’ll make things (even) worse for Turkey. They’ll close the Bosporus straits. And their friends, their pseudo-friends, the Russians, (they) will transform from friends into enemies overnight.
There won’t be a single city in Turkey which won’t be bombarded. From this moment on, Cyprus starts to have its part in the global events. And it will have it! Whether the three days of fear take place during Erdogan or after, I don’t know it. I don’t know it. But it will happen. We should be afraid. “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord” (Psalms 110:10). We should be afraid so that we may kneel (in repentance). So that the kneeling and the praying and the repentance and the tears will bring many blessings to our land.
One major blessing, prophesied by Hatziflourentzos before 1967, is that all of Cyprus will be liberated without war.” We will have the three days with some events, but it won’t be war like (the Turkish invasion of) 1974. The other major blessing, which will solve Cyprus’ problem once and for all, will be that many Turks will be baptized (Orthodox) both in Turkey and in Cyprus. Thus, we Christians, who go to all-night vigils, who come to homilies, who kneel and pray at night and if we don’t do it, we should do so!
We, dear ones, will be the (future) catechists of these people. Just like some well-intentioned women from the Philippines (who work mostly as caregivers in Cyprus) say to you, “Talk to me about Christ!” “Baptize me (as an Orthodox Christian), dear lady.” And some do indeed get baptized. The ones we don’t kill, I want to say this one thing. Among all these, the news, the Holy Pascha we experienced. We listened to the great news, which most didn’t bother to notice.
Elder Aimilianos of Simonopetra fell asleep (on 9 May 2019) in Ormylia (at the Holy Convent of the Annunciation). A great saint! You see, I got emotional just by mentioning his name. We had our own news [going on in Cyprus]. During Pascha, we found dead girls in suitcases. All Cypriots stand in shock... “He (the murderer) is (not) Cypriot, ... is he Bulgarian, could he be from somewhere else...?” As if we are “the angels of the earth.” Not one Archbishop, not one Metropolitan, including myself, stood up to expose our hypocrisy. Some reporters said something, but said it with the sorrow that accompanies the atheist reporter. A man of God in Stavrovouni stood up. He hasn’t spoken (publicly) in almost twenty years: Fr. Savvas. He sent a short letter; I came across it in “Phileleftheros” (Cypriot newspaper). It writes about our hypocrisy. All of us!
He says, “This poor captain (of the military) ...” whom all of us judged and condemned. Few of us prayed so that God grants Him repentance (for his crimes). (Fr. Savvas says), “We have such agony about the girls he murdered and put inside suitcases,” “including the two small children (he murdered)” “and we feel pain and compassion for them.” “We are all hypocrites!” “If we were true Christians, ... neither would the captain have come to this disgrace,” “nor would the children have been found murdered in the suitcases” “if we weren’t enacting legislation on abortions in the first place.” “With the law’s approval, how many children have we killed through abortion?” “Why do we then feel shocked by (the murder) of the 2 children and the 5 women?” “Because we’ve created a beast-like society,” “the beasts will now devour without restraint.” For this, let us be humble and honest.
In this great reordering that is coming and will be global, it won’t just concern the Middle East. If we share what (the saints) have prophesied about America, half of America will (start) calling Evrychou. God has a plan for all peoples! Positive and negative (events) will follow. All (these) are therapeutic medicines. However, the Cypriots, the Greeks, the Russians, the Romanians, we, who are Orthodox (Christians), should have maintained a deeper spiritual stance, both as governors and governed, as rulers and ruled, as faithful and of little faith. We should have had “a quality.” Unfortunately, the case of the captain proved that we don’t have this (spiritual) quality that older Cypriots had. May God grant us repentance and be clement towards our and your sins. Thank you. “
