Was It Really Archangel Michael? A testimony that shook public sentiment during the early stages of the global events has resurfaced, perhaps more relevant now than ever.
In July 2020, at the onset of the worldwide upheaval (Covid), a woman named Vasiliki experienced something extraordinary. So moved by the event, she emailed her account to Doctor Konstandinos Vardakas, a well-known figure in the Greek Orthodox community and considered by many to be a “Chosen One” of Saint Paisios. Doctor Vardakas then uploaded her testimony to his website with a measured disclaimer: “I upload this with reservations; whoever wishes to accept it may do so.”
I say the same to you.
The testimony gained wide attention in Greece, circulating over 18,000 times. And if you’re reading this now, there’s a chance you’ve heard about it before, though for readers beyond Greece, it could be your first encounter with it.
What makes the testimony so compelling isn’t just its spiritual undertones; it’s the timing. The testimony references mid-2027 as a significant moment. That date, surprisingly, resonates far beyond Greece and has been flagged by geopolitical analysts as a potential inflection point, a time when strategic decisions meet real-world consequences, and global balances could dramatically shift. In fact, Saint Paisios referred to a coming “Great Shaking” that would lead many to return to Christ.
At the heart of the testimony lies the majestic Archangel Michael and his revered church on the island of Symi, Greece. For centuries, faithful believers have practiced a unique custom: if unable to visit the island in person, they send a wish in a bottle, believing the Archangel will receive it, read it, and deliver it to the Lord. This practice is deeply rooted in Orthodox tradition and reflects the enduring faith of generations.
Gamaliel, once reasoned before the Sanhedrin when defending the Apostles of Christ: “If something is not from God and is false, it will soon perish. But if it is from God, no force can stop it.”
So, what are we left with?
If this testimony is merely a fabrication, a digital myth crafted for attention, then its authors risk divine reckoning, especially when invoking the name of Archangel Michael, known in scripture as the unwavering defender of God’s realms and truth. But... if it is true and indeed aligned with God’s will, then its message will endure. Nothing and no one can stop what’s to come!
Now we start with the testimony. It was July 22, 2020, Wednesday, Feast Day of Saint Magdalene and Saint Marcella:
“Since I had been working for 15 days straight, the kids were complaining and wanted to go swimming...Even though it was Wednesday, we did them a favor. We prepared some fasting food to take with us.
However, for 2 years I had promised to send a vow (with the bottle) to Archangel Michael in Symi, and I always neglected to do so (not intentionally).
I had it on top of the TV with a tribute to Symi. That day I told my sister; we won’t leave unless we prepare the bottle to send to the Archangel in Symi. And so, we did... We wrote our names, put incense, charcoal, and a small gift for the church (a little money) in it.
I told the kids that we would stay until late to leave it in the sea when everyone had left so as not to provoke any comments.
We left at 1:00 p.m. and arrived at around 2:20 p.m. That’s how long it takes to get from Ioannina to Igoumenitsa in an old car. I don’t usually drive fast...
At the Igoumenitsa intersection, my nephew says, “Auntie, do you think the bottle will reach Symi?”
Without thinking, I say, “Who knows, Giorgakis, maybe the Archangel himself will come to get it...”
I realize what I said, and immediately say... “God, forgive me for what I said... we don’t deserve such an honor.”
We arrive at the beach, and we all cross ourselves for arriving safely. We settle in and order coffee. I see a young man coming towards us.
Oh, I say... he’s probably selling something, and as you know, these salesmen can be a bit pushy.
He approaches us, greets us, and we greet him back.
“I sell glasses, would you like me to show them to you?”
I say, “No, thank you, we won’t be going back to Ioannina .”
“Ah! You say you are from Ioannina?”
(I should mention that we were my sister, her son, my mother, my daughter, and me. My son didn’t want to come; he stayed at home with his grandfather.)
“Yes, I’m from Ioannina...”
“And where is Ioannina?” He says.
At that moment, I cross myself and say... “My God, where are you from that you don’t know where Ioannina is?”
He says he’s from Athens... “I’m an orphan, I grew up on the streets and I don’t have a home.”
When I crossed myself, he said to me.
“Do all of you here believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Holy Spirit?”
We say yes, we are Orthodox Christians...
We all say... “You? Do you believe, sir?”
Of course, he says, and crosses himself.
You’re doing the right thing, he says. “You seem like good people, and you’ll go to Heaven...”
I laugh a little and say to him: the others maybe, but me, no way. I’m divorced... and I’m in a relationship with a guy, so there’s no hope (I hadn’t remarried at the time).
He says to me... but why are you saying that? “You’re a good person, I know it.”
And I ask him... How do you know? You don’t know me...
He then looks up at the sky and says to me.
“I’m not saying it, it all comes from above!”
I was left speechless, thinking, what is he saying now?
He says to me, don’t you believe me?
I say, okay, what can I say?
“You will get married and go to Heaven... all of you here will go to Heaven. You believe and you are very good people.”
Then my mother said to him... “Oh, my guy... I wish my son believed like you... My son changed his faith; he didn’t get married or baptize his child (at that time he only had one son).”
And she started crying...
And he says to her:
“Tell your son that you spoke with me (a dark-haired boy) and tell him to repent because in 7 years from today, the Archangel Michael will come and stab his fiery sword over there (he pointed towards the center of Igoumenitsa), and then everything you have experienced during these seven years will come to an end. After that, you will live for many, many years in Christ...”
When he said these things (that’s exactly how he said them, I’ll never forget them), he looked up at the sky and it was as if he was saying, I don’t know how to describe it, it’s indescribable...
We all stood there speechless...
I say, excuse me, may I ask you something? Who are you, please tell us who you are?
He says to me... who do you think I am?
I say, you are not a common man like us... It’s 45 degrees, you’re sitting in the sun, you’re not sweating, while we’re dripping with sweat, and where does all this stuff you’re telling us come from?
We were in shock... We were all crying, both kids, without knowing why...
Then he takes off his glasses to show us...
He tells me... you will take this for your partner (he knew everything about him; he told me everything) ... I am speechless.
Then he tells my sister, you will take this for your husband who is blond with blue eyes...
My sister says... do you know him?
Yes, yes, he says. “We met on Mount Athos at the Monastery of the Archangels a few years ago and we even talked.”
He says. “He came and talked to me, and I remember him.”
But, my sister says, how is it possible to remember someone you don’t know?
We were shocked...
Then he turns to me and says: “Do you work?”
Yes, I say, I’m a cleaner at the hospital on a contract.
Then he says: “Do you want to go to Heaven and see the Kingdom of Heaven?”
That’s exactly what he said...
We said, “Yes, of course.” (Tears flowed like a river down our faces.)
“The vaccine for the global event will be available soon... Promise me you won’t get the vaccine, and I promise you will go to Heaven...”
(I should mention here that the global events had been around for 5-6 months, but we didn’t know anything about the vaccine at the time; all we had heard was that research was being done.)
We said yes, we give you our word that we won’t get the vaccine when will those vaccines you mention come out.
He repeats: “Do you promise me?”
Yes, we say... but then I say to him: Do you give us your word that you will help us?
“I promise you.” He said.
He said at least five times. “Don’t get the vaccine and tell others.”
Please, he repeats. “Don’t get the vaccine and you will be saved.”
I ask him again... who are you, sir? You mentioned the Archangel twice, is that a coincidence?
Then he says something that really shocks me...He tells me to send what I have in the car on the driver’s door, and it will go where I want it to go...
I ask him what do I have on the door (I was curious)..?
He tells me. “The bottle is a vow for the Archangel in Symi, and yes, send it... it will go!”
I say to him, please, tell us who you are?
He says. “Who do you think I am?”
I tell him, I’m embarrassed to say it.
“The one you’re thinking of, I might be... But I won’t answer you...”
I asked him more questions because he was right next to me. I remember everything about his face. Which was perfect and flawless.
After we finally got the two pairs of glasses, he says.
“Then, I don’t need the money you gave me. Tomorrow, I will light a candle for each of you”
(Here he said all our names without us telling him.)
“When I go to Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Tomorrow is the last day, and I want to worship.”
(On Friday, July 24, 2020, it would become a mosque.)
We thanked him very much, but we told him that he wouldn’t make it in time, as it was already afternoon...
Our time is different from yours, he said...
So, I’m right, I told him, you’re not a human being like us...”
End of the testimony.
If we accept the testimony as true and accurate, then the next year (2027) could encompass monumental upheavals and fulfill the forewarned “Great Events.” Among them: the abolition of electronic identities, a Greek Turkish conflict, Turkey’s pivot toward the West resulting in the closure of the Straits, a full-scale Russo-Turkish war, and widespread turmoil across the Caucasus and the Middle East.
The Saints and Elders prophecies also speak of the fall of the “The Whore of Babylon”, interpreted to be the United States of America. The “Great Events” will be accompanied by nuclear incidents and geological catastrophes including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other natural disasters spread all over the world.
Further great devastation is said to strike Scandinavia and the Baltic states, attributed to Russian aggression.
During these events, the march of the Papal crusaders toward “The City” (Constantinople) is expected, culminating in a final showdown at the Bosporus Straits and the outskirts of “The City”.
At this critical juncture, Archangel Michael shall appear and proclaim: “Stop! Enough vengeance! Stand well!”
It is during this sacred period that the appearance of King John is foretold.
Thus, we remain in steadfast anticipation, armed with faith, patience, and perseverance, awaiting the unfolding of the divine will!
